Law-based sanctification chains us to the limitations inherent in humanity. We meditate on the limited precepts of men, progress incrementally in humanly attainable steps, and eventually achieve sufficiency by conforming to the petty expectations of men. God’s work of sanctification is as infinite as God himself, freeing us from the constraints of earth. We commune with the infinite God himself, progress exponentially from glory to glory, and never get one step closer to achieving the ultimate fullness of God himself.
